Carrapateira is on the west coast of the Algarve 1 hour 15 minutes from Faro.
The apartments are easily found on the west coast of the Algarve. Set in the middle of the Aljezur, Sagres, Lagos triangle they are perfectly located for
every type of holiday.
COLLECTION:
We recommend hiring a car but for those who want a break without having to drive, we offer help with collection and drop off to Faro Airport by our local village taxi from around 90 Euros per trip and Lagos train station at around 30 Euros per trip.

TAXI:
There are plenty of taxis at the airport and they will cost approximately 120 Euros
TRAIN:
The train will take you from Faro to Lagos for about 8 euros. From here you can connect with a bus or taxi or use our collection service.
BUS:
The bus passes through carrapateira three times a day.
FLIGHTS:
Most airports have a service to Faro and flights from the UK can be found for as little as 25 Euros.
CAR HIRE:
Most of the major companies are based at the airport. Models range from Fiat Pandas to people carriers. Expect to pay from 10 euros per day.
The local car hire companies offer the same vehicles and service for less money.

Directions from Faro airport -
when exiting the airport, you will join a sliproad to a roundabout with stone statue figures in the middle and a garage to your left. Reset the KM counter on your car here.
Note: If you are collecting a car from one of the larger car hire firms you will usually pick up the car at the airport - although sometimes this will be done from their offices just outside the airport. In most cases, when you leave their non airport premises, you will have to turn right on the dual carriageway and drive back to the roundabout on the airports exit as described above. Reset the KM counter on your car here.
