Ocean View Apartments are located in the picturesque fishing village of Carrapateira on the Western Algarve Coast.  The self-catering apartments are nestled into the hillside overlooking the beautiful Carrapateira beach and its green hills dotted with farmland animals and their shepherds.  Carrapateira is within the Costa Vicentina National Park which comprises thousands of acres of protected lands that are perfect for hiking, biking, surfing, bird-watching, fishing and relaxing.

The apartments have superb sea views from the courtyard and roof terrace and are ideal for all kinds of holiday, whether you want a family break, romantic getaway, peaceful retreat or even an action packed adventure.

We have three apartments that can be rented throughout the year.  Each is beautifully decorated and has all modern home comforts.  The apartments are named after our favourite surf breaks in the UK. We have one small apartment (sleeps two adults) and two large apartments (sleeps 2 – 4 people).  We can, of course, accommodate large bookings for all three apartments.

The beach is a short walk from the apartments and has a life guard on duty during the summer months.  The village centre, with local store, surf shops, cafés, bars and restaurant is a couple of minutes away. If you’re looking for a great night out, then historic Lagos, a 20-minute drive, is the place to be in the Western Algarve.  The area has many great bars and restaurants and is also a great place to go shopping.

Faro Airport is the main airport for the Algarve and is just a 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Carrapateria.  We recommend hiring a car but we are happy to help provide transport to and from the airport for our guests from  around 90 Euros per trip, or from Lagos train station at around 30 Euros per trip.
